Listen on Spotify | Listen on Apple

Embodiment is a word we use a lot. What does it mean to be embodied? In the last 30 years of private practice, it would be impossible to count how many times I have heard someone say, “I feel out of my body.” The truth is, there are many things and experiences that happen in life that can leave us feeling disconnected and even fearful of our bodies. How has the birth of the technological revolution impacted how we listen to our bodies? Most of us learn verbal language from the moment we enter the world. Through the educational system, we learn that written and verbal communication are at the forefront of importance. What about body language? Where do we learn the ways in which our body speaks? One thing we all have in common is that we have a body! So, let’s talk about it. 😉

Join us as we place the universal body language in the forefront and explore how becoming more subtly aware of your body’s expression can bring you deeper into your own trust, health, and clarity and quell the underlying fear of our bodies most of us have been conditioned into. As you listen, you are invited to strip back the layers or what you think your body is about and imagine you are meeting it for the first time. ❤️
